I don't ask for much help but this squad I need to craft a bit.

--Improved Flea Bags--
62 Emperor Palpatine, Sith Lord
32 Thrawn (Mitth'raw'nuruodo)
18 Clone Commander Gree
15 Lobot, Computer Liaison Officer
28 Wookiee Freedom Fighter x2
13 Czerka Scientist
13 Kel Dor Bounty Hunter
8 Mas Amedda
5 Caamasi Noble
4 Gran Raider
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
(199pts. 12 activations)

I wanted to run a O66/Wookiee FF squad that got slightly more deadly with Opportunist. However, I can see that there isn't enough anti-melee or even swap fodder. I have come to the conclusion, erroneous or not, that with highly mobile units, the Mouse Droids aren't really that great but paired with minor movement (GMA or Static Shooters) the help out. So, I decided to go with Mas instead of the MDs. Any tweaks someone can see that might be useful? More Wookiees?

Well, one weakness I see is that you may have trouble getting off those Opportunist attacks. You really either need Tempo Control (Ozzel) or more activations. And Palpatine SL is a tough sell still, IMO. He's just a LOT of points for what he offers. I'm not really sure you need the Kel Dor, though I understand why you have him in there (Lancer/Yobuck deterrent). You may not really need the Gran or Caamasi either. Spend the first round or two advancing your pieces. Then rush the WFFs in once your opponent is semi-close. Then swap in Palps for the Triple/Opportunist clean up. I guess you may need some cheap fodder to swap Palps back out, but I would say that you could probably get away with just swapping the WFFs back in, and be ready to go for another Charging Assault on the next phase.

Thanks for the information. I wish another Palp would be created for 066 squads. What I want is to put in more WooFFs and less anything else. But, it doesn't help that, in today's market, you have to have a KelDor (A lot less than usual due to the rule change but still important) and potentially a Czerka. I could drop the Czerka and add in another WooFF or Ozzel.
