--Nothing Held In Reserve--
55 Kazdan Paratus
37 Supreme Chancellor Palpatine
35 Qui-Gon Jinn, Jedi Master
34 Quinlan Vos, Infiltrator
15 Lobot, Computer Liaison Officer
12 Gha Nachkt
9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
(200pts. 8 activations)

How's this for a post-IE Kazdan squad? I tried to hunt and see if anyone had posted one like this already, but I couldn't find it. Nothing terribly original here, but could be brutal. You get 50 points of Reserves on either an 11 or a 20. Rolling an Eleven would let you put 25 Mouse Droids on the board (not that I would encourage anyone to do that, lol). :P If you bring in a RBSV for the first time you roll an 11, you could use his CE to force people to target Palpatine, and hope for the Betrayal. ;)

Seriously though, with pieces like the Chameleon Droid, Lancer Droid, and now the Mouse Droid, it looks like Kazdan could stand a chance once again.

Are the builds with less tech and more offense (Rex or an X-1 or something like that) better than this one?

I've never felt that Palps was worthwhile using, but Lobot and Kaz mesh really well. now you get reserves on 5 numbers, and recon to boot.

Rex instead of Palps would be an easy swap, and leaves with 4 points to play with. Double override is handy, looks like some fun as long as you're rolling what you need.

55 Kazdan Paratus
35 Qui-Gon Jinn, Jedi Master
34 Quinlan Vos, Infiltrator
33 Captain Rex
15 Lobot, Computer Liaison Officer

6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

They might not have been searchable on bloomilk because i posted them each before Aaron had Lobot loaded, and forgot to go back and change it.

Both are versions of the two Kaz 200 squads i run now, and both work better than palps. He just isn't worth it for that cost.
