Ok, here is a squad I made up a while back, and I promised I would post it.

Thrawn/Mas
Vader CotS
RBSV
Storm Commando X2
Stormie X2
Ugo X2
Gran Raider
Lobot

200, 12 acts + lobot.

SC have a rediculous attack modifyer and damage with Thrawn + Vader Rerolls and Super stealth. You can drop the Rodian for Veers if you prefer accurate, but I feel its not needed. 2 SCs doubling can take care of any fodder shields quickly as they need not hide early on with the Rodian. So to me that is preference.

More than 2 SCs is pretty much overkill as they are swappable and untargettable outside of 6 squares.

Plus I always love Vader Cots. He is highly underrated as a fig in these thrawn shooter squads.

Looks great although I have to disagree that more than 2 SC's is overkill. If you lose one SC you lose 1/3 of your damage output. Vader ReRolls are very risky as you could easily lose a SC that way with the dreaded 1 or 2. (Against a JWM in cover you need a 6 so this is definatly not guarenteed) I think that the Rodian is a great idea withought Vader though. They seem to be 2 seperate things that don't compliment eachother as well as say you dropping Vader for 2 X SC's and Filler or if you drop the Vigo for a SC and CF fodder. It is just too risky IMHO to have only 2 SC's at 200, espescially when you gamble their lives. It is a great build although I think that it could use a few tweaks. :D

I dont gamble with them. Vader's CE is only used situationally. I just prefer to have a beat and Vader Cots is quite good at it. Also, I dont need more than 2 SCs as basing them is a very bad idea. Its all about careful positioning and counting, both of which are my strengths :)

And I am certainly not going to reroll when I need a 6. Other than a game end needed kill, perhaps that is. Otherwise, the CE is just a situational bonus. Now that may sound like I should drop Vader, but that is not the case. I do use the CE. I just use it carefully and when needed. Plus Vader himself is a pain to kill, can control gambit, and has some great force abilities when needed.

I agree on all parts of what you said, I just don't know if it will work like you want it too. It is a great squad no doubt, and in your hands it will be deadly. Have you played my 100 point Swiss Army Knife? I think that you will find it to be a very fun squad to play at 100. (As it is similar to yours. Carefule positioning makes it work)
