I just came up with a cool Han-Cannon variant that i plan to use this Sat.

Boba Fett,Mercenary: 58
Han, Scoundrel: 46
Princess Leia: 20
Luke,HPU: 28
2-1B: 17
Lando,DS: 18
RS R2-D2: 8
Cammaisi Noble: 5

i'm thinking about droping R2 and the noble for a Rauntaun :?:

Let me know what you guys think :D

if you're going to lose R2, I'd drop the Luke and add Lobot to give you override and access to more activations which can only help you.

Well, Here is my thoughts on this, You are attempting a Cannon Squad, but you have based most of your damage on winning initiative and left yourself no initiative control. The best bet IMO is to go with Boba BH instead and Han Rogue instead, then add your rauntaun and trade leia in for a Bothan noble.

Well at my venue Boba BH has been outlawed  , so i'm sorry but that's not an option. i have however ttaken into acount no intiative control/help. so i guess the team i'll have to take out r2 and the noble and put in a rauntaun.

some comments

1. You don't have the complete cannon. Where is Obi FS? Force renewal and Mettle are VERY important to the Han Cannon so i'd look to fitting him in or going with a different Han.

2. The cannon works best by wining init, Han attacking followed by Leia making him fire again. Merc works best by winning init and intuiting out and double attacking. You have 3 figs that all want to get off on the 1st phase. One is not going to get his/her best move off.

I would drop Han Sc for Han RH and Princess for a Bothan Noble. That frees up 14 points.
You can then put in your Taun without losing your door control.
Your camassi can then become 2 uggies.

You can get off 120 DMG on the initiative phase. (merc fires twice and bothan gives him another shot) usually at +18s which is better than the cannon. However, the noble can also make Luke and Lando fire again also so you can cannon at the start and at the end.

The squad would be

Boba Merc
Han RH
Luke HPU
Lando DS
Bothan Noble
2-1b
Rauntaun
R2
2 x uggie

My only issue is that its a little light on activations for 200 but its difficult to know what to remove. It is very powerful though. Max Dmg output is 240 (ignoring uggie hits) with 40 HP of healing.

I usually feel a little exposed with that Boba Fett, the healing helps to compensate for that a little. I'd feel better with a bodyguard nearby, but I don't know how to fit one in. I still think you need a Twin Attack piece to make the best use of the Noble's Extra attack. What about trying to work in Cade Skywalker?

ok guys thanks for all the help(keep it coming in) i think the route i'm going to go is the 1 suggested by fingers.

So the updated team would look like this

Boba Fett,Merc: 58
Han,RH: 35
Lando,DS: 18
Luke HPU: 28
Bothan Noble: 17
Rauntaun x2: 26
R2-D2 & C3PO: 18

what do you think of this

In the most recent squad you posted I would take out Lando and the old Luke to fit him and some filler in to max out your activations.

Looks pretty good, I would also downgrade C3P0 and R2D2 to just R2D2 and three uggys unless you think you need the Disruptive at your venue.

Don't forget Draw Fire. A 60 HP, regenerating, droid that can absorb fire is incredibly useful; especially when you are using Han Scoundrel.

I'd keep him if I were you. The duo is just gives too much in this style of squad.

7 activations is typically a little light for a 200 point squad, but it mostly depends on your local play group. If you tend to see Dodonna, San, or Stormtrooper hordes a lot, then you might want to swap out the R2-PO for regular old R2 and 3 Ugnaughts. But, if smaller armies with big heavy hitters are the norm where you play, then you should be fine with this. Either way, this will be great when you win initiative, especially if you have the Rauntaun within 6 of a big target.
