With LOTF now out, clone commandos are now more dangerous than ever. Time to build a squad around them. And here it is:


Commando Training SGT. 30 pts.
Clone Commander Bacara 23 pts.
Commando Boss 19 pts.
Queen Amidala 16 pts.
Commando Scorchx3 45 pts.
Commando Sev x2 30 pts.
Commando Fixer x2 30 pts.
Naboo soldier 4 pts.
Ugnaught 3 pts.



So the clone commandos now have a host of abilities such as: superstealth, sheilds, mobile attack, grenades 30 (scorch), and other abilities. So with Scorch, you can mobile and use grenades 30. Or use mobile attack if the stealth is countered. Fixers can solve door problems for the sevs, to open up firing lanes. This squad does not require Mas, so that's always a plus.

Any comments or suggestions for improvement?

not really anything to do with your squad, but with all of those abilities I had been thinking of using old RotS Palpy with thrawn and mas to do some serious commando Action, don't have an exact build yet.

The problem I see here is that if you run into Emperor Palps SL then you have automatically lost. Not sure if I could ever play this squad because of that....

I would fit in 2 JWM's if I were you. They could provide a lot of melee interference in this build and also make Palps no longer an auto-loss.

The problem with playing Palps SL now more than ever is against anything else other than Clones is you have an auto loss. Betrayal can never be relied on.

The JWM suggestion is a good one though.

I think Yoda would be better than JWMs since you could reroll your shield saves.

I'd go this route as well....if you want to drop commandos for a beat in the first place.

Probably right about palpy, I just love the look on my opponent's faces when betrayal does work.
