Here are a couple ideas I had to use with an exploding Uggie/MTB machine.

Squad #1:
Yoda 55
Shaak Ti, Jedi Master 47 (102)
Boba Fett, Enforcer 38 (140)
Lobot 27 (167)
Ugnaught Boss 15 (182)
R2-D2, Astromech Droid 9 (191)
Ugnaught Demolitionist x3 9 (200)

Reinforcements #1 – Muun Tactics Broker and 4 Ugnaught Dem
#2 – Lando Calrissian, Dashing Scoundrel

Squad #2:
Boba Fett, Mercenary 58
Shaak Ti, Jedi Master 47 (105)
Han Solo, Rebel Hero 35 (140)
Lobot 27 (167)
Ugnaught Boss 15 (182)
Juno Eclipse 8 (190)
Ugnaught Demolitionist x3 9 (199)

Reinforcements: #1 – Muun Tactics Broker and 4 Ugnaught Dem
#2 – Lando Calrissian, Dashing Scoundrel

I like both, but for different reasons. The first one - cause I love the idea of having Shaak Block twice, with a second chance on each. The second - cause I love the idea of doing 80 pts of damage with both Boba and Shaak. Let me know what you think. And sorry if these have already been posted.

Well, you're looking at a max of 160 damage with Boba and Shaak together, in the right situations. That's pretty nasty. I think 7 Ugo bombs should be enough for you to charge the enemy and set up a nice beginning of round hit like that, but I'm not 100% sure. I haven't really played against anyone running an MTB who really knows what they're doing, so I'm not sure how hard it is to burn time and force your opponent to waste their MTB fodder. 7 Rounds should be enough, unless your opponent does some crazy running in circles. Especially since Shaak could run 16 squares at the end of a round to base someone, and then Fett could fly 12, then Inuition another 6 when/if you win init.

Both are solid squads. I was just saying yesterday at the LGS, that Shaak Ti JM and Boba Merc were probably my two favorite pieces out of the TFU set.

2nd squad is better by far but i think your cutting it fine by adding Juno. You still need to protect Lobot so sometimes you need to lead with uggies to blow some doors. Its unlikely you'll get all 7 uggies for MTB sac, some will die.

Drop Juno and add 3 more uggies. It should function far better.

The 1st squad is ok but too much melee tends to lose in this game and shaak ti has no ranged defence from the accurate cannons around. I might be tempted to add in a Bith to aid Shaaks advance and then add Lando DS instead of boba. Tough losing Boba but i don't feel he adds that much to the squad.

Thanks for the suggestions, so far. =)

And yeah, for the first I was thinking about dropping Boba and replacing with Lando and the Bith. Just hate to lose Accurate. Of course, this Boba only gives you 20 pts of Accurate damage. So not that much of a loss.

And Lobo, Shaak and Boba are my favs from the set also.

The second squad is better. If you want slightly more activations, you should take out the ug boss and put in ugs to replace him him. Then bring in MTB and Gonk droid as your reinforcements. But doing this would mean the ugs lose self destruct 10, thats the only downside I see. It mostly depends on personal preference. Han Rebel Hero is good but if your squad faces another MTB engine your squad may have problems winning init, but if you take out Han Rebel Hero and put in Han Rogue you wouldn't have to worry about going up against an opposing MTB engine(unless that MTB engine also has Han Rogue). But if you don't face an opposing MTB engine or Han rogue then your squad should do great.

The first one looks more fun(I love evading), but the second is better. More power-activations, and range shooters. Not to mention Boba and Shaak be putting out 40-40 with Cunning and Advan.
