I thought I would look to use Master Kota's CE more than just his force repulse so here is the squad I put together.

Master Kota 55
Boba Merc 58
Aurra Sing 37
Lando DS 18
R2-AM 9
Mas 8
Caamasi 5
Ugo X3 9

199, 10 activations.

Basically, I have Lando mobile, Boba use Intuition, and Aurra gets the tow. Kota builds up fps, and can act as a shield if needed. Lando is a +11/20d, Aurra is +14/24d (28d in cover, are you kidding???) and Boba is a +13/22d. And of course each of the three have damage and attack modifyers that balance each other nicely. Caamasi is there to annoy, nerf Golans, etc.

That's about it. I think its probably a nicely competitive squad as is, but if you have any other ideas for Kota's CE, feel free to share.

Looks like a good squad, but I have one question.

What is point of a Caamasi Noble? I know that they're useful for something, but I just can't figure out what.

It has several uses in this squad. Since I will often have Aurra or Kota in los of the opponent, diplomat will be in effect, and the Noble cannot be attacked or targetted. Which means, he can freely collect gambit, base a static shooter and force them to move to attack, and in particular, base a Golan Turret should one be played, preventing it from attacking. Basically, its an annoyance piece, and works well with Aurra and Kota.

lol @ Frost.

As I said in the other thread, these are both pretty similar to what I put together for my Vassal TFU tourney squad. I haven't actually played with it yet though, but I think it's got some potential. Though I planned to use Maris instead of a Fett for some added Melee help. I think Boba Enforcer might be just as good in this squad as well, and would allow you to work in Lobot.

Ah the consequence of not looking at fishing threads with multiple squads :) Just kidding.

Really, with this, is there a better option? Can we really change any of the other fringers and still have similar power?

I do think this is about as optimized as it can get. Like I said in my first post, I think Maris is a GREAT piece to pair with Kota as well, but that probably depends on your local meta or personal playstyle. Plus, I like the option of towing up Maris and then moving 6 for a Repulse 2. It keeps R2 alive, but still has the potential to wipe out a couple scrubs. And with a 22 defense, she won't die terribly quick. She'll still have trouble hitting some of the beefier pieces like Kun or Vader JH, but the +12 is the same as a JWM, and her Defense is better than a JWM in all ways except for against adjacent Force Users (she's one less).

Now...if you play on Starship though, your squad as posted would toast my squad with Maris, I think. So, that would be the downside to using Maris.

I have been playing a similar squad
I take out the noble and run Boba BH instead.

I understand why you have the noble in there, but I don't have boba merc yet, so I feel boba bh is a better option for me. I considered putting in boba enforcer, but i couldn't come up with a solid way to spend the point difference. I quess if you wanted to go the enforcer route you could dump an ugy and get bossk bh.

Either way is a pretty solid squad. I did run into some problems against a yoda dagobah teamed with Han Sta, Wedge, Luke Hoth poilit, Obi UL, Lando DS, Lobot, R2
