--Light Tanks--
45 Valenthyne Farfalla
96 Army of Light Jedi Lord x3
42 Covenant Defender x2
17 Covenant Consular

Preferred Reinforcements:
(Farfalla) 20 Army of Light Trooper x4

(200pts. 11 activations)

might be my favorite new Tank squad. Was inspired to make it after listening to last nights SHNN today. It can handle both shooters and melee and it has auto dmg to handle other uber tank squads plus prideful is undisruptable. And I was also suprised at how I could make a good OR squad without Bastilla.....

All totalled if everyone can attack, the dmg output is 420 dmg. It has door control (don't need overide really since my guys are all melee), movement breakers (Army of Light Lords and the Consular) and tankiness vs shooters and melee (covenant defender helps vs shooters and Army of Light Lords already have MotF 2 and Lightsaber Defense). Should be able to also get first round gambit quite easily with the consular's CE and the movement that Defenders get with Knight speed. Would like some input on this squad. I think it could do quite well! Its got the tools to be good and it even has something to handle swarms (force burst 4). What does everyone else think? any improvements you'd make?

Interesting mix of Army of Light and Covenant.

The covenant defenders are really interesting. With Farfalla, you can get the Army of Light Troopers a FP and then they become eligible to be guarded by the Covenant Defenders since their ability requires melee attack and a Force rating. So the squad ends up with 4 pieces with satchel charge that get 2 chances to evade shots so people can't easily snipe them before they blow up doors that they have overriden. plus they can move 8 to blow up a door as well with spending a FP. It has minor init control with the Consulars Anticipation, the consulars can counter some Nom Bomb squads (ones that rely on fringe bombs) and it has a couple medium level movement breakers. I'd like to see how this squad performs in testing for regionals, but on paper it looks pretty solid.

I read Farfalla's CE like Holosid. They get a Force point but not a Force Rating. "Force 2" or whatever is the Force Rating. Light Tutor does grant a force rating, but it states that explicitly.

ok, thanks for clarifying that for me. Hopefully all 4 of them can blow up the key doors in the map. Usually it is just 1 or 2 you need to worry about the opponent overriding.
