--We Were Soldiers--

29 Carth Onasi, Old Republic Soldier
28 Aric Jorgan
24 Admiral Oteg
22 Old Republic Veteran Trooper
18 Old Republic Commander
15 Old Republic Drop Pilot
12 Elite Old Republic Soldier
8 R7 Astromech Droid
5 Old Republic Guard
9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3

(200pts. 13 activations)

I know this is exactly what people are NOT wanting to see, but it's a pile of soldiers (all with different abilities but contributing to each other's Squad abilities) who put out massive damage. Looks like fun to play, but a nightmare for a typical Jedi squad. Against ObiKin... not sure. CE cancellation will hurt this squad a ton, and once you lose 3 soldiers Squad Firepower goes away.

Massive damage output, but the trick is to keep them alive. Prideful, GMA (for non-uniques), Squad Firepower, Double. That gives the following attack/damage caps: Carth: +17/200dmg standing still (cunning). Aric: +14/120dmg standing still. Vet: +14/Accurate 120dmg w/GMA. Drop Pilot: +14/120 w/GMA vs adjacent. Elite: +13/100 w/GMA (cunning). Guard: +9/60 w/GMA. Another +4 versus anyone previously attacked (Oteg's CE). Only 6 soldiers, so Squad Firepower is lost for the endgame.

Wow! really powerful squad with a ton of dmg output. Kinda goes to show how insane dng output has become on shooters in today's game. 40-50 dmg shots seems to be the norm for OR shooter squads.

Played it last night and it won. It was close, though. Turning point was the 22pt accurate Veteran sniping Leia JK in the back. Without that, the opponents likely would have evaded a ton and this squad would have lost. Ultimately, with the lack of movement, I think most tier 1 builds would have the movement to come in and pick pieces off 1 by 1.
