Vong+uggernaught= Vuggernaught!


So now that we actually have a deadly, non-droid huge out that actually has some really good damage potential, it's time to whip out the uggernaught for the vong.

Uggernaught 34 pts.
Lobot 27 pts.
Prince Xizor 40 pts.
Dannik Jerriko 23 pts.
Bith Black Sun Vigo 20 pts.
Aqualish Assasin 7 pts.
Grans x3 12 pts.
Ugnaught 3 pts.

200 total 11 activations minimum. 17 max.

So the uggernaught gains stealth, and therefore has accurate shot for its attacks. Twin with accurate shot at 20 damage against every enemy in sight is pretty damn sick. Jerriko provides a good scrub killer, the bith grants evade and is a pretty good shooter with Xizor, and a few bombs to fill in the rest of the squad. Lobot brings in Garindan and Wicket, or whatever.

I really like the proposition of the uggernaught for the vong, because it grants some actually solid damage to the vong. The vong have never lacked special abilities with damage ( self-destruct, kohun infestation, thud bug ), but never have they had such a good damage potential from regular attacks.

I'm not sure how threating your +6 twin accurate shot attack is going to be against 26 def stormtroopers and 27 def Jedi.

Why Dannik Jerriko? Those 23 points could be 3x AA more.

Just another accurate shooter to take advantage of Xizor. Obviously this squad will have a hard time with high defense figures, but Lobot can bring in wicket to help out.

Unless your opponent is also playing ranged attackers. Wicket is not much help out of 6 squares.

Your opponent will have to chase you down then, because of SS. You will get more damage then they will off, that's for sure.

That squad sounds like a lot of fun! not too sure about dannik either, but your reasoning is good.
