Post subject:  Commander Cannons

Here's a fun one. Tier 1.5 max, but it is surprisingly strong. LOL, everyone on the team is 10 base damage (or less), but lots of synergy.

--Commander Cannons--
32 Thrawn (Mitth'raw'nuruodo)
31 Arica
28 General Weir
22 Imperial Governor Tarkin
18 Moff Nyna Calixte
16 Admiral Gilad Pellaeon
16 Grand Admiral Rulf Yage
11 Admiral Ozzel
8 Mas Amedda
8 R7 Astromech Droid
4 Gran Raider
3 Mouse Droid
3 Rodian Brute

(200pts. 13 activations)

If you are not facing accurate, drop Nyna for a Storm Commando. If you are out-activated drop Ozzel for Jag Fel.

Thrawn and Tarkin can hit for 20, Ozzel (or Jag), Palleon and Nyna can hit for 40, GARY can hit for 60, Arica clears the fodder hitting everyone for 40, and Weir is your big hitter swinging for 120 vs activated 80 vs not activated.

And to top it off the brute and the the gran can hit for 20, and Mas is always swinging for 20.

This is all not counting Nyna's possible +10 vs stealth bonus which will rarely come into play.

What does GARY do in the squad? From what I see you have no pilots or troopers in the squad.

Well, Weir is a Pilot, so he gets Cunning in addition to his Opportunist. He's also a 16 point Double Attacker with Cunning +20; just don't roll a 1!

Weir is a pilot.

Actually I did roll a 1 vs Jake, but then I just killed GARY. 16 extra points for me. :)

pardon my question but what does Moff Nyna Calixite even do? i am not familiar with her stat card at all.

So 18pts for a commander effect for Weir, that is an interesting idea cause that would turn him into a beast. :)

Its pretty funny GARY has been the talk today, I was trying to get GARY going with some Gloomwalkers on Sunday.

Moff Nyna Calixte gives figures with Stealth, Super Stealth meaning they can not be targeted by any spell or ability if they have cover.

9/10 times she's a place holder for a storm commando. But vs certain squads (big accurate guns) she's a gold mine. Also might be fun against beefy stealth - that +10dmg vs stealth could help out. Weir swaps and moves 6 to smack Cad Bane for 80 and kill him end of round. Ouch!
