55 GOWK
35 Anakin Skywalker on STAP
33 Captain Rex
25 Republic Commando Fi (or Darmin)
23 Foul Moudama
9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid
5 Rodian Diplomat
3 Mouse Droid
12 x4 uggies

You have 2 solid shooters in Fi and Rex. 2 movement breakers in Foul and R2. + a super hard to kill beatstick and a strafer. Anakin can be used defensively and be at +11 attack + Fi's traps. Or you can trade him in for damage and kills. This squad is good at getting to the fight in a hurry and either blwing out teams or getting blown out fast. So a lot of 1 and 3 point wins.

Sigh - I have been waiting for someone to post something along these lines. Annoying. Very annoying.

Just for my personal understanding why isn't Mas Amedda included in the squad to give Stapakin free range on the map and strafing.

GOWK's CE works a bit different than most CEs - it's not based on range from the commander, but rather range from an allied piece. Mas Amedda doesn't help with that.

I've only played this once, but heres how it went. Round 2 i got off a big strafe with Anakin (against a Rebel BG build with ferus) even with disruptive Anakin put a bunch of damage on dudes. Next phase anakin makes 2 deflects to stay alive from hans shots. Foul lifts gowk and obi runs in and puts 20 more on Han (he's down to 10 at this point).

From there it was full Hp on my dudes and i got one more strafe off before anakin died. it took 3 rounds to win. It's a good squad. I think it can handle most everything due to its very high speed. Having both Foul and R2 means you can get your attackers wherever you want pretty much whenever you want.

I thought about swapping Fi for the Klatoonian Captain so Anakin's strafing area would go up. But losing Fi's Traps, door control, and damage didnt seem worth it to boost 1 guy.

you could try to work in wicket if ya wanna keep traps but want anakin to have evade and speed 8

Mas Amedda says "Allie's commander effects normally limited to 6 squares are unlimited." it says nothing about "limited to 6 squares from the commander" ergo gowk's has 6 squares in it, it should be boosted to unlimited still, shouldn't it?

No. While there is a range in GOWK's CE, it's not a range that is counted from the commander (which is what Booming Voice is based off of). The range from the GOWK is already limitless as all allies boardwide have it.
