Gay Lynn

66 Galen Marek
33 Palps on Throne
32 Thrawn
27 Lobot
11 Admiral Ozzel
8 Mas Ameda
5 Imperial Dignitary
12 x4 Brutes
6 x2 Uggies

Basic idea is to get Galen wherever needed and either Pull 3 or Repulse every round. Palps' ce is also handy for moving brutes 14 to setup repulses and whatnot.

I was expecting to see Arden Lynn in the squad based on the name

Agreed. The name is rather weak, for you, without her

Ok so the name is bad. Is that really all you guys have to say about it?

Eh, you swapped Vader and some activations for Galen....not really anything new to say from the previous squad or its performance.

To be honest I want to see you play without ozzel and high acts with him. What about Arica and him with a twist without high acts or something else that we have not seen. We all know what kind of squad tank one main show is. I want to see something different.

Kind of a glass cannon. Once Galen dies, your squad's offensive power dies. I went against a similar squad tonight and once his Galen died, he conceded since he couldn't kill the rest of my stuff with what he had. I suggest trying to put in another viable treat to swap around and give the opponent something to think about. Galen is good, but with no offensive abilities against ranged combat, he dies relatively quickly. I noticed in my game, Ozzel actually hurt his squad, since it was very obvious where he was going to swap Galen in and alowed me to get shots off before Galen activated. One activation per turn doesn't really help the squad to much. Not when you only have one attacker. I probably would take Mithrawn out, put in the old Thrawn to give Galen higher defense and give you Ysalmiri bubble to protect against Bastilla.

If you out-activate you can move with near impunity.

Obviously this squad is meant to out-activate then crush a bunch.

Problem is - I don't know if 13 + Lobot (max 19) is enough, even WITH Ozzel.

You'll have to give up some nasty swats at Galen to give that first burst if you are out-activated.

If you out-activate, it's really nasty.

True this. Imperials with Ozzel cannot pull off a mid-round swap against anyone but another Ozzel or San Hill...and even then, it's too easy to prevent.

And swapping Thrawn for GAThrawn wouldn't help at all, since Galen isn't non-unique and so he can't benefit from the +3/+3 CE. Opportunist is a big help to Galen.

The good thing about this squad is you can easy get rid of ozzel after a few rounds of using him. Palpatines lightning 3 or a repulse 4 kill him. If you think you may need to lose ozzel he is a great guy to stick in gambit.

Yep, either that or you leave him behind, in the midst of the opponent's squad, after swapping Galen out. They can ignore him and choose to not take AoOs, but then he'll just attack the fodder and weaker figures with Opportunist. And if they do leave him, then you can swap in Galen for him again the next round, to go nova again. It's a win/win situation.
