I played the A-series powered by the T-series droids this weekend at Cap City Champs

4x A-series
3x Tactical Droid
6x mice
2x BD
1x uggie
1x R7

Rd 1 beat Eric and his vong. His squad couldn't withstand the firepower.

Rd 2 beat Bob Clark and his Senate Commandos. This was tough but was able to maneuver so his death shots were on mice and regular BDs instead of the A-series.

Rd 3 vs Tim. I made a mistake by bunching up and he strafed through taking out 2 of the a-series (and leaving a third out of position) in exchange for me killing his Scout on speeder. After that it was a nickel and dime type of game with each of us trying to keep our stuff out of danger. We both need to learn to play our squads faster though as we were just starting our 4th round with about 10-15 mins left on the timer. We ended up starting our 5th rd before time was up but our final score was something like 80 some to 60 some.

Rd 4 vs Brad and LeGOWKcy. He made a move I hadn't seen by using FPs to move faster and get around and basically got a free A-series out of it (and left another out of position). The game was an uphill battle for me from there. I missed the death shot on Brianna after combining fire to need anything but a 1 by of course rolling a 1. In the end I had taken out Mace and finally Brianna and knocking off 60 of Obi's health (average SSM saves) and not touching Atris. Def a very tough matchup for my squad as the high def means I need to be rolling hot.

Finished 2-2 with 6 points and in 5th place and got to take home one of Jake Shuler's cool customs (Sandtrooper on Dewback).

When I left you I was but the learner . . . now I am the master.
