Yesterday I acquired Garm and Chew3P0, so I figured I'd make a squad with them. I know people have been talking about this combo, but I haven't seen any squads with it:

Garm-45
Chew3P0-31
Bossk, BH-25
Han, RH-35
Lando, DS-18
Princess Leia, RH-14
Rebel Leader-18
R2-D2-8
Ugox2

My reinforcements will almost always be Rebel Trooperx6 (I only have 3 Mon Cal Techs). This leaves me with 16 activations. I played this against my friend last night, except I did the math wrong and didn't have Leia, RH. He ran Quinlan, Infiltrator, Shaak JM, Saasee, Bith Vigo, Doombot, and the Republic Commandos. This squad has amazing potential damage. In the game, I moved Chewie three and doubled (via Garm) with momentum and combined fire on both shots. I needed 2s to hit for 60 damage each shot! His squad got decimated and I lost hardly anything.

One question: Can I move Chewie 3, then double, then if I defeat someone, move 2 and cleave, or does her CE not apply because I used double? What if I only move one and double, then can I move 2 and cleave because Garm lets him go 3?

I posted a squad. I guess it was on Wizards. "Garm's Movers" I think I called it.

Found it: Reposted here for you.

Fun squad concept that has some promise.

Garm 45
Luke HoY 35
Chewy with C3PO 31
Han of Hoth 33
Princess Leia (or Senator) 20
Obi FS 8
Droids 18
Ugo X3 9

199pts, 10 activations + Garm's.

The point of this squad is to take advantage of moving double attacks. In particular, Luke can move 5 and get his quad, Chewy can move 3 for double momentum strikes, Han can move 3 for his double cunning, and PL can give any of them another shot (or two for Luke).

An obvious option is dropping PL for Senator and Ugos for Lando DS, or work in Bossk BH.

Garm can bring a free Golan, a Rebel leader and some mon cals, or a couple of Rauntaun's as needed.

I thought about a squad like this, but Luke's attack is just too low for my taste. Also, didn't Nickname rule that you can't spend fps to move with Garm's movement?

Correct, I just forgot to delete that portion. And to be fair, he also said it was a conservative ruling that very well may change once he here's back from Rob on their intent. So its not set in stone at this time.

But yes, I just copied and pasted and forgot I had that blurb in there.

Looks awesome!

I had thought of using Chewie with Garm, but not Bossk. I like it a lot. And I really like it with the combined fire with Rebel Leader.

Great squad!

I'm hoping he does change it, then. Luke CotF moving 7 and doubling is awesome.
