So what are the issues I would face and are there any particular bad mtchups? My thought was to turn on ABM, send Yoda into clean up the scrubs and swap in dash or rex. Then hopefull with the -4 turned on the couldlive long enogh for another strike. I think you mean 'force meditation'.  I prefer the squad with the Echani. With FM on, the Echani can hit as hard as Dash (better even), but at any time during the round. The only bonus for dash in this case is that he has +30 Hp. Also, I would drop the Felucian for 2 acts (like a Gran and Rodian Brute), for more swappers. This way you can have Yoda do some long gallops to even acts, while Rex and Echani harras until you want to turn on FM and swap them in for a kill. |

I'd drop Rex for a second Echani, and then with the Felucian gone as well, you have 11 more points to up your activation count. |

Makes sense only lose 1 to the attack, would you just add a bunch of brutes for activation control and cheap swap fodder to get to something more like: 51 Yoda on Kybuck 41 Atris 23 Captain Panaka 44 Echani Handmaiden x2 9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid 8 Mas Amedda 18 Rodian Brute x6 6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2 (200pts. 15 activations) Or am I just really mising the boat? |

I have been trying to look at diffrent way to use Atris and still be competitive, which base squad is better? Seems kinda odd to be using a jedi with Vong, but it seems like it could do well if you know what you're doing. IMO, I think you could go with one less echani and get some more support in there |

I have contemplated using Atris with the Vong. Sure her ability doesn't directly affect the Vong but it does nerf the opponent's with very few countermeasures. The problem I see here is that's a lot of points for only a handful of characters. You have Nen Yem benefiting Shedao only. You have Atris helping most of the Handmaidens and helping a few of the pieces by hurting the opponents. I don't pretend to be an expert but I think those points could be better utilized. Drop Nen for a Lobot. He can bring in a CE if need be to help with mice droids (Talz Chieftan for +4/10 to some JH's?). If you keep Atris, maybe keep one Hand Maiden for fire support but then bring in some YVJH's or Ossus Guardians. Then either bring in just a basic Shaper or PratPriest to help on the offensive. |

My thinking was that shai. was not worth playing without nim because it go es  him +4 and + 20 (shaped and master shaped.) I have another build on bloo with lobot and the cheiftan 1 less hand maiden. Since Ian on my phone I cannot copy and paste. Stupid phone autocorrect |

As for Shai, he is good with Nen but I just couldn't commit that many points to 1 figure without some benefit to another piece (ie JH, PV, or OG). If you drop one EH, you could put in another piece or 2 to help out and take some of the burden off of Mr. Shai. |
