Made this and ended up playing against a GOWK squad with doombot, Rex, and some ranged plus a JWM. It fared rather well, especially Jacen who became very hard to take down after some damage. I ended up blasting him out of necessity, when Anakin went boom and the Embrace of Pain boost kept him going for a long while. Was kind of neat that hurting him early on helped a lot. I'm still not too sure about the Pilot business, but it looks fun. I wasn't lucky enough for reserves in the game. at the very least it made dash effective, he was lucky enough to tear up GOWK a great bit. I wasn't really intending this squad to be very competitive but it seemed to have a lot of potential in a casual game. I am not sure of how I would tweak it exactly but am open to suggestion. Oh and as for the name of the squad... just as good as the next right? haha. 200 Points 56 Jaina Solo, Sword of the Jedi 33 Jacen Solo, Jedi Knight 28 Dash Rendar, Renegade Smuggler 23 Anakin Solo 23 General Wedge Antilles 15 Lobot, Computer Liaison Officer 10 Jagged Fel 7 Felucian 5 Caamasi Noble Reserves 24 Cloud Car Pilots x3 6 Snivvian Fringer oh and a side note, after making the squad I am a little disappointed Jaina didn't have Pilot as an ability, seeing as she gets a lot of buffs while with the Mandos. But to be honest she is a true beast in any case so hey all good =p |

Hmm dropping lobot for the R7 and uggies doesn't sound bad at all, I'll have to give that one a try for sure next time. tos extra acts will be nice. I was pretty intent on getting in some junk pilot shooters for fun on reserves, but hey, another day for that one hehe. Ganner for Wedge I am not sure about though. the evade was helping a great bit vs what levitation or the extra push and sweep might do. between Jacen and Jaina's parry then wedge evade it felt like some nice ghetto soresu mastery going on. But I won't under estimate the ganner either. He'll get his shot too. All in all I really like this build and keep the suggestions or strats coming =) |
