Supreme Overlord Shimmra 72 Nom Anor 34 Nen Yim 27 Yammosk 15 YV Worker x 10 40 Ugnaught x4 12 Just an interesting option. Shimmra provided a means for the Workers to blow up, along with making the others get stronger. Eventually they will start to ping away enough to get painful. |

I went the route of the Ugnaught Boss...saved me 29 points, I lost the superstealth, but I gained some more damage output. There are definately some melee friendly maps on the new Restricted list so it's easier to get the ugnaughts into range to miss an attack. |

Definately an interesting option. I tend to prefer the Nom/Worker option, because they do more damage when they die, and the Workers can ping for more damage with Nen Yim. |

Another advantage of using the workers is that you don't have to worry about the AoE force powers, which can hurt bombs pretty bad if you make any positioning mistakes. |

The SD 20 over the SD 10 probably makes up for the extra I'm getting, unless I use Dash, who then doesn't benefit from Shimmra and I have 0 synergy at that point. |

I have been running this squad and it does really well. My goal is usually to blow the Workers up and take out peices with 10-30 pt cost. Shimra can clean up any jedi threat (except for maybe Lord Vader, which I painfully found out >.<). Master Tactician for the Vong is really nice and Shimra is a great peice. The Workers eventually start to hit stuff, which is great since they do 20 dmg a hit. If all your worker die by reroll's from Shimra's CE, Shimra ends up attacking stuff at +29 attack. Nom Anor is also a great peice with Shaper, since he will always do 30 dmg with Shimra's MT ability. I went against a squad with Vader, Legacy of the Force and man it was fun stealing that Extra Attack CE for Allies that he has. Double attacking Nom and Quadruple attacking Shimra are insane. The Yamosk is great and makes your squad unpredictable. Swap squads have something to really fear when going against this squad, since swapping Shimra around usually results in stuff dying. |

Umm, Shimra doesn't benefit from his CE. He cannot be an ally to himself. |

Ok gotcha. I thought it did, cause the wording on the CE says "the character is defeated and each other Yuuzhan Vong ally gets +1 attack". I guess I was wrong. |

The CE would have to say "including this character" to work that way. Easy mistake to make given the wording, you have to go outside the ability itself to the fairly long standing precedent on such things. |
